Union carpenters have been screwed out of construction jobs at a Willets Point project that has been in the works for more than a decade, according to the New York City District Council of Carpenters.
Hundreds of frustrated carpenters rallied on Broadway near City Hall Thursday to blast the city’s Economic Development Corp. for failing to keep its promises.
