Members of the Civil Service Employees Association, one of New York State’s largest public-employee unions, have overwhelmingly voted in favor of a new five-year collective bargaining agreement with the state that will bring them 13 percent raises over the course of the deal.
The multi-year pact, retroactive to April 2021 and running until April 2026, was approved by more than 80 percent of members who cast ballots.
