District Council 37 has renewed its remote and flexible work pilot with the city for another year, extending a program covering more than 20,000 city workers that first launched in June 2023. DC 37 executive director Henry Garrido announced the extension of the pilot program that allows members to work from home twice a week in a union delegates meeting on Tuesday after months of anticipation, several delegates told The Chief.
A spokesperson for the union confirmed on Thursday that the agreement has been signed.
