Trump Village in Coney Island was the first property that former president Donald Trump worked on as a developer, helping his father, Fred Trump, build the seven 23-story towers in 1964, one of many developments the future 45th president would build in New York City.
Since he announced his run for president in 2015, Trump has had a complicated relationship with the city he was born and raised in with his most recent visit entailing getting arrested and arraigned on 34 felony charges.
