The MTA/New York City Transit is accepting applications for subway conductors posts through Oct. 27 for multiple-choice exams scheduled for April 20 and 21.
The current minimum salary for Conductor is $24.32 per hour for a 40-hour work week, increasing to $34.74 per hour in the sixth year of service. The position’s benefits include night and weekend salary differentials, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, a comprehensive medical plan and a pension plan.
